Arriving at Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2024 for a check for 40 million euros from Eintracht Frankfurt, Willian Pacho (24) quickly established himself as a pillar of the Parisian defense and largely contributed to the historic coronation in C1 last season. His former teammate in the Bundesliga, Kevin Trapp (35), now goalkeeper for Paris FC, is not surprised to see the Ecuadorian defender shine in the colors of PSG.

“He’s someone who laughs a lot, always in a good mood. He is very open and listens a lot. He’s definitely someone you want to have in the locker room. I wasn't necessarily surprised to see him at such a level with Paris, but I knew that playing for PSG is different. He adapted very quickly, like with us, and that was, in my opinion, one of the keys to success in the Champions League”explained the ex-PSG goalkeeper to Parisian. An essential part of Luis Enrique's squad, Willian Pacho could also extend his contract before the end of the year.
