The epilogue of this 8th day of the Premier League took place this Monday, at the London Stadium, between West Ham (19th) and Brentford (16th). Dominated for most of the match, the locals conceded the opener from Igor Thiago (43rd), author of his sixth goal this season in the league. Eight minutes later, the Brazilian thought he would score a double before VAR canceled his goal for an offside position.

At the end of the match, Mathias Jensen (90th + 5) sealed the third victory for the Bees in the championship (0-2). Keith Andrews' team climbs to 13th place in the rankings. As for Nuno Espirito Santo, this third match at the head of Hammers resulted in a second setback, which did not suit West Ham at all, still second to last in the Premier League.
