In the wake of its draw conceded Friday evening at home against Strasbourg (3-3, 8th day of Ligue 1), Paris Saint-Germain returns to the Champions League this Tuesday, with a trip to Bayer Leverkusen (9 p.m.). For this meeting, Luis Enrique will be able to count on some returns to his squad, but some players remain in the infirmary.

Absent since September 5 due to an injury to his right hamstring, Ousmane Dembélé will be traveling to Germany, according to information revealed this Monday by L'Équipe. Returning to collective training in recent days, the 2025 Ballon d'Or could even have been present against Strasbourg, but the medical staff preferred to play it safe.

This will not be the only return within the Parisian group since according to the sports media, Marquinhos is also summoned for the meeting on the third day of C1. The Brazilian defender had been on the flank since September 20 and the defeat conceded by PSG in Marseille (0-1). His left quadriceps is now recovered.

Fabian Ruiz and Joao Neves remain rested

The injured are therefore returning slowly but two elements will however remain at rest. Fabien Ruiz and Joao Neves are not sufficiently recovered and will therefore not make the trip. While waiting to officially know the composition of the group, then just before the match, of the Parisian eleven, Luis Enrique can still be delighted to find some of his executives.

Winner of its first two matches in the league phase of the Champions League this season, PSG is currently third in the standings. After beating Atalanta Bergamo (4-0) and FC Barcelona (1-2), Désiré Doué and his team are aiming to make it three against Bayer which has so far neither won nor lost, with two draws on the clock.
