The day after its first defeat of the season in Serie A at Como, Juventus formalized the contract extension of Daniele Rugani until June 30, 2028. The central defender, trained between Empoli and Turin, joined the Bianconero club in 2012 before joining the first team in 2015. Regularly used as a reliable alternative in defense, Rugani stood out for his consistency, his professionalism and his capacity to respond to every call from the coach.

The club praised, in its press release, the longevity and attachment of Rugani to Juventus, recalling his career punctuated with success: six Scudetti, four Italian Cups, two National Super Cups and a Primavera Cup. In 152 appearances for Turin, he scored 11 goals, confirming his defensive solidity and his effectiveness on set pieces. Despite several loans to Rennes, Cagliari and more recently to Ajax, the 31-year-old player was able to bounce back and establish himself as one of the symbols of loyalty and continuity at Juventus, where his story will now continue until 2028.
