Good news at Real Madrid

Still bothered by several injuries within his squad, Xabi Alonso could already make a significant comeback on the sidelines of the match against Juventus (Wednesday, 9 p.m.). It must be said that time is running out. The Clasico is fast approaching (Sunday, 4:15 p.m.) and several absentees were to be deplored on Sunday evening against Getafe (0-1 victory).

First, there is the certainty of not seeing Dani Carvajal set foot on the pitch for Real Madrid. Excluded against OM on September 16, the Spanish full-back received a two-match suspension. He will therefore serve his sentence this Wednesday.

Then, doubt still persists for Dean Huijsen and Dani Ceballos. A.S. report that both players are unlikely to be available against the Old Lady, while the club still see them as doubtful ahead of Barca.

For Trent, optimism is in order

Despite these few doubts, there is still good for the Merengue. Away from the field since the match against Marseille, Trent Alexander-Arnold is on his way back. Preserved during the last international break, the English full-back participated in part of today's training, and could therefore appear in Xabi Alonso's group.

It remains to be seen whether he will be preserved, or aligned by his trainer. Note that Ferland Mendy also returned to training, five months after his last match. For Antonio Rüdiger, the defender has been withdrawn because he still has not recovered from his left thigh injury.
