During the night from Saturday to Sunday, the regular season of
Major League Soccer ended. Lionel Messi greatly contributed to Inter Miami's big victory against Nashville (5-2), by scoring a hat-trick.

Author of 29 goals in 28 matches, the eight-time Ballon d'Or winner finished at the top of the ranking of scorers in the qualitative phase for the play-offs, ahead of Denis Bouanga (24 goals) and the Englishman Sam Surridge (also 24). His club finished third in the Eastern Conference in the standings.
