Marc Guéhi will leave Crystal Palace at the end of the season. At the end of his contract in June 2026, the Eagles captain informed his management that he did not wish to extend, as his coach Oliver Glasner admitted at a press conference. The English international defender will even be able to sign freely with a foreign club from January. Already this summer, Guéhi almost joined Liverpool for €35 million, but the transfer was canceled due to a lack of a replacement found in time.

“I think Marc has already told us that he will not sign a new contract, so he will leave next year”explained Glasner. “The club wanted him to stay. They offered him a new contract. But he said, “No, I want to do something else.” And that's normal. Now the question for us is: how to manage this situation? What is the best way to approach this next step? It all depends on how we communicate. »
