AC Milan: Leão ends 519-day goalless drought at San Siro in Serie A

Returning from injury for a few weeks, Rafael Leão shone this Sunday evening during the meeting between AC Milan and Fiorentina in Serie A. The 26-year-old Portuguese scored his first goal of the season in the league with a superb right-footed strike from outside the area, finishing in the back of the net.

Leão had not scored at San Siro in Serie A for 519 days, and his goal allowed Milan to equalize in the 63rd minute after Gosens opened the scoring in the 55th. This achievement comes after his first goal of the season scored in the Coppa Italia against Bari and is a real relief for Massimiliano Allegri's AC Milan.
