After five seasons at Stade Rennais, Adrien Truffert joined Bournemouth this summer for 17 million euros, including bonus, to replace Milos Kerkez, transferred to Liverpool. In great form since the start of his adventure in the Premier League, where he played the entirety of the first seven days, the 23-year-old left-back confided in the columns of The Team that he always thinks of the Blues.
“Every player has that in the back of their mind. Afterwards, it's a bit tricky, but you have to perform well in the club over time to be called up. I focus on my progress and what has to come next will come”he declared. Truffert participated in the 2024 Olympics with the French Olympic team, losing in the final to Spain. As a reminder, he was selected with Didier Deschamps' Blues, during a defeat in Denmark (2-0) in September 2022.
