PSG is starting to recover some of its players who were injured in recent weeks. Drop by drop.

This Friday evening, at 8:45 p.m., Paris Saint-Germain welcomes Racing Club de Strasbourg for the opening match of the eighth day of Ligue 1.

Marquinhos is not in the group of players summoned by Luis Enrique for this enticing meeting of the French championship. Joao Neves, Fabian Ruiz and Ousmane Dembélé also do not appear in the list.

The absence of the Brazilian captain of the Rouge et Bleu may seem surprising. Indeed, the Auriverde international was not mentioned in the medical update published by the reigning European champion on Thursday. Which could suggest a return.

Marquinhos, a long-awaited return

Indeed, Désiré Doué, Bradley Barcola and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia did not appear there either. And these three players have been called up to the group which will welcome the Alsatian team, currently third in the Ligue 1 standings.

As a reminder, Marquinhos was injured on September 22 at the Orange Vélodrome, during the
Classic between Olympique de Marseille and PSG. Affected in the left quadriceps, he was initially expected to be absent between two and three weeks.
