It has become a habit: Paris Saint-Germain formalizes its contract extensions by series. Last season, coach Luis Enrique, but also executives Achraf Hakimi, Nuno Mendes and Vitinha posed at the same time with the expiry of their new contract.

This scenario could recur in the days to come since several extensions would be on the table, according to information from L'Equipe. There is of course the case of Ousmane Dembélé, whose new Ballon d'Or status is not without consequences.

Luis Enrique, PSG coach.

Arriving in 2023, the 2018 world champion could return with an increased salary, even if Paris will never again reach the altitudes explored during the galactic era, as with Kylian Mbappé in particular.

PSG wants to secure its important players

Besides Dembélé, other major or notable players are expected to return to the capital. Fabian Ruiz, fulfilled and efficient, is one of them, as is the surprising Willian Pacho, who showed himself at the highest level last season, or Bradley Barcola, whom the technical staff holds in high esteem despite an uneven performance.

Finally, Paris will continue to play the youth card since two titis considered to be rising stars should also extend their contracts: Senny Mayulu and Ibrahim Mbaye. Luis Enrique makes a lot of room for his young elements.
