Since his arrival at PSG in the summer of 2023, Luis Enrique has impressed with his boundless energy and his almost obsessive relationship with physical condition, even at 55 years old. Recovered from a broken collarbone that occurred during a fall while cycling last September, the Spanish trainer continues to follow an intense physical pace, combining barefoot hikes, cycling, core training and pull-ups. “I can't train like an athlete because I'm 55 years old, I'm more of a grandfather than a top professional. I'm also active, I like doing sports, it's important to me as a person”he confided at a press conference.

His discipline also extends to dietetics and recovery, with careful and natural meals, regular care with physiotherapists, and meticulous monitoring using a connected watch and a DEXA machine to control his body fat. His habits surprise and fascinate PSG players, between respect and admiration. As told by an employee of the club according to information from The Team : “when he’s late, you know he has a good chance of being in the gym or with the physiotherapists”. Even in his leisure time, the man who was voted best trainer in the world in 2025 combines physical preparation and mental recovery, where he reflects on his programs and challenges his own limits.
