Liga: Espanyol and Leganés share the points

Espanyol returns to the path of victory, and to the heights of the championship. Traveling to Oviedo this Friday evening for the 9th day of La Liga, the Catalan club won 2-0. The VAR had to intervene to first validate Kike Garcia's gag goal (70th), given that the Spanish championship has still not equipped itself with goal-line technology.

Pere Milla made the break by receiving a cross at the far post from El Hilali (82nd), who had entered a minute earlier. Espanyol are fifth in La Liga thanks to this success. Santi Cazorla's teammates are 18th.
