As a reminder, the method for establishing this ranking has been based on the Elo system since 2018. This is the expected result according to the points of the two teams before the match. Weighting is carried out according to the importance of the match, which can give up to twelve times more value to a World Cup match from the quarter-finals onwards, compared to a friendly match played outside the international windows of the FIFA calendar.
