FIFA has just published its new world ranking of nations. And with the friendly matches and those counting for the World Cup qualifiers, there has been a change in the top 10. Spain retains first place, but the France team (3rd) has ceded its second place to Argentina.
England (4th) and Portugal (5th) have not moved, while Brazil continues its fall. The Auriverdes lose one place and are seventh, now ahead of the Netherlands. Finally, Germany (10th) gains two places and returns to the top 10, at the expense of Croatia (11th) and Morocco (12th).
