At the end of a historic season with Paris Saint-Germain, Lee Kang-In was voted best Asian international player of the year at the AFC Awards 2025. The South Korean becomes the first player in the history of the French club to win this trophy.

The former Valencia and Mallorca player is ahead of the Iranian Mehdi Taremi and the Japanese Takefusa Kubo. Lee played 49 matches for Paris last season (7 goals, 6 assists), and he brilliantly contributed to his country's qualification for the World Cup (5 goals, 6 assists).
