Paris Saint-Germain finally sees positive news on the medical front after a start to the season marked by an impressive series of injuries. Ousmane Dembélé, victim of a severe injury to his right hamstring in early September, hits the mark. After continuing his rehabilitation in Aspetar, Qatar, the Parisian winger has returned to collective training and could rejoin the group on Friday for the Strasbourg reception after The Team. Same encouraging observation for Désiré Doué, recovered from his calf injury, and for Fabian Ruiz, simply preserved after muscular fatigue. On the other hand, the staff remains vigilant in monitoring Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who recently returned to Georgia, in order to avoid any relapse.
Some cases require more patience. Joao Neves, injured in a thigh, continues his recovery work while Bradley Barcola, spared after persistent pain in his quadriceps, has not yet returned to full training. Young Senny Mayulu is expected for Friday, but captain Marquinhos will still have to wait. The Brazilian defender, injured in his left quadriceps, will likely miss the Strasbourg reception as well as the trip to Leverkusen in the Champions League.
