Ousmane Dembélé's coronation last September could soon be followed by pleasing news for the Paris Saint-Germain striker. According to The Teama salary increase for the French international, whose contract runs until June 2028, is being considered by the capital club.

The Parisian leaders wish to mark the occasion to underline the new status of their number 10. A desire shared by the player's entourage, who believe that his influence now goes beyond the strictly sporting framework.

PSG is cautious

Currently, Dembélé receives €1.5 million gross per month, which already makes him the best paid player in the Parisian locker room, and in Ligue 1. For example, Marquinhos receives €1.12 million, Lucas Hernandez and Achraf Hakimi €1.1 million, and Warren Zaire-Emery €950,000.

PSG, while adopting a prudent financial policy, does not intend to unbalance its accounts. Discussions between the two parties are expected to conclude in the coming weeks.
