Cruel disillusionment for the French under-20 team which this Wednesday in Chile lost in the semi-final of the U20 World Cup, blocked by Morocco.

While the score was tied after the 90 minutes of regulation (1-1) – Michal (59th) having erased the penalty conceded by the unfortunate Olmeta in the first period (32nd) – the Bleuets, after extra time which saw the expulsion of Nzingoula on the French side (107th), ended up giving up on penalties.

At sudden death, while the two teams were back to back after the first five shots taken on each side, Bernard Diomède's players fell, at the end of the suspense (4-5). The Bleuets will try to conclude this U20 World Cup on a good note this weekend during a small final which will pit them against the losers of the second half between Argentina and Colombia.
