Ansu Fati, 22, seems to have regained all his energy in Monaco after difficult periods in Catalonia. Loaned by FC Barcelona, the striker is shining this season with already 6 goals scored in just 5 games played and only 2 as a starter, which has earned him a lot of praise in France. His impact on the game is obvious, and Monaco could activate their €11 million purchase option. However, no final decision has yet been made regarding his permanent transfer according to Mundo Deportivo.

Monaco sporting director Thiago Scuro stressed the importance of letting Ansu continue to perform before thinking about the financial aspects. “The main thing is to guarantee Ansu the necessary playing time so that he becomes a key and regular player for Monaco. Business is not a priority at the moment”he explained, specifying that the principality club will make its decision in due time, protected by the agreement reached with Barcelona and the player. Meanwhile, Ansu took advantage of a stay in Barcelona to reunite with old friends from La Masia, including Gavi, Balde, Héctor Fort, Araujo and Ilaix Moriba.
