After beating Iran (2-1) last Friday, Russia must face Bolivia this Tuesday. A meeting in which Matvey Safonov and Zelimkhan Bakaev will not participate. The PSG goalkeeper and the Lokomotiv Moscow striker have been sent back to their respective clubs.

“Nothing bad happened to them. They were released by their teams, as there were no plans to use them, even as substitutes“, declared Russian coach Valery Karpin.
