A very fashionable racket sport, padel has more and more practitioners in France. Tennis enthusiast, Daniel Riolo does not see himself switching to this discipline which is played in a place framed by windows and fences and divided by a net.

“I'm still healthy, I'm not old, so I don't need it. (…) Or people in poor health, or who can no longer run, or who have pain everywhere. It’s those who can no longer play tennis who go to padel”explained the sports journalist last week in the show “Estelle Midi” on RMC.

Comments that were not really to the taste of
Cyril Hanouna. “I love Daniel, but I'm taking on the challenge with him to do 30 minutes of padel one day. But really at a high level, not a Sunday player, he will understand that it is much more cardio than tennis”wanted to correct the television host, Monday, in “All beautiful, all new”, on W9.

Hanouna challenges Riolo

“But it was a waste!” »then replied Géraldine Maillet, the partner of Daniel Riolo who is also a columnist for Cyril Hanouna. “If you ever really want to come with me and two top 100 players to play padel, we’ll make you do half an hour. And afterwards, you will see that Géraldine Maillet will be much freer”quipped the PAF troublemaker.

Cyril Hanouna is ranked 129th in the French rankings (FFT). He regularly promotes this sport in his shows.
