It's not official yet, since the French team won't announce it until around 7:45 p.m., but that's it. Three hours before the Iceland-France match, Monday evening in Reykjavik, The Team
revealed the composition of the Blues. And as expected, Didier Deschamps will make a large turnover for this fourth meeting of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

Compared to the eleven which started the match against Azerbaijan (3-0), last Friday at the Parc des Princes, there will be seven changes at kick-off. Mike Maignan in goal, William Saliba and Dayot Upamecano in central defense, as well as Michael Olise on the right wing will be the only players retained by the French coach against the Icelanders.

Iceland-France, with Mateta and Thauvin from the start!

Behind, Jules Koundé and Lucas Digne will replace Malo Gusto and Théo Hernandez on the sides. In the midfield, Adrien Rabiot and Khéphren Thuram will move to the bench in favor of Manu Koné and Eduardo Camavinga. In attack, Florian Thauvin will start at number 10 while Christopher Nkunku will occupy the left flank, Jean-Philippe Mateta replacing Kylian Mbappé up front.
