This season, Martin Odegaard has had one series of mishaps. Playing master of the Arteta system for several seasons, the Norwegian has been very often injured in recent months. Hit in the shoulder at the start of the season, the former Real Madrid player suffered a knee injury during the October 4 match against West Ham. An injury ultimately more cumbersome than expected. Affected in the medial collateral ligament, the Gunners number 8 will be absent for a month.

So, the 26-year-old is expected to be unavailable until the next international break and he is expected to return in mid-November. This means Odegaard will miss the league matches against Fulham, Crystal Palace, Burnley and Sunderland, as well as the Champions League matches against Atlético Madrid and Slavia Prague.
