Manchester United are preparing an offer of 69 million euros to recruit Adam Wharton, the young midfielder from Crystal Palace. According to the Daily Starthe Mancunian club, which did not strengthen its midfield last summer, wishes to correct the situation before next season. Ruben Amorim follows Wharton closely and particularly appreciates his technical qualities, seeing in him a future pillar of the Mancunian midfield, especially given the expected departures of Casemiro and Kobbie Mainoo.

At 21, Wharton is one of the hottest young talents in the Premier League. Revealed at Blackburn, he joined Palace in February 2024 for nearly 21 million euros and quickly established himself in the Eagles' eleven. His progress even earned him a place in England's squad for the Euro, as well as a key role under Oliver Glasner. With an FA Cup victory and European qualification, his value continues to increase and is now attracting the interest of clubs like Manchester United, but not only. Manchester City and especially Real Madrid would also be in the mix.
