Ousmane Dembélé will celebrate his Ballon d'Or title in his hometown, Évreux, this Sunday. While the PSG player is currently recovering and absent from the French team gathering, he will take the opportunity to be received at the town hall of the Normandy town around 4 p.m. to receive the city's medal and present the trophy in front of his former clubs and the inhabitants of the town which saw him grow up.

The 2025 Ballon d'Or will visit the Mathieu Bodmer stadium, where it all began for him, in an event of symbolic significance for him and for his first local clubs. Ousmane Dembélé “wants a popular festival on Sunday, simple things, close to the people, we are expecting several thousand people on the town hall square and on the stadium”indicated the mayor of Évreux, Guy Lefrand, to theAFP. A nice message from the 28-year-old Parisian striker, who returns to where it all began for him.
