A particular context and a qualification for the World Cup: it is with these parameters in mind that the Greens of the Algerian team approach their match against Somalia, this Thursday, early evening, as part of the qualifying campaign for the World Cup (kick-off at 6 p.m.). Initially scheduled in Somalia, this disputed match finally took place in Oran, Algeria, because the opponent of the day does not have an approved field.

On the pitch, there should be no debate between one of the best students in this African zone, and a Somali team which has not won a single match and is in last place in this group. At the heart of a stage marked by the arrival in the selection of Luca Zidane, Algeria will still count on its historic executives, starting with Riyad Mahrez, to impose its game against a very low block. Yet another repetition of the scales to write history and fuel the legend a little more. It will then be time to look forward to the World Cup on the other side of the Atlantic, without forgetting the CAN, another major event scheduled for this winter.

The expected compositions:

Somalia: Jama – Abdi, Omar, Abu Bakr, Farah – Omar, Bwana – Musse, Sharif, Habib – Saad.

Algeria: Luca Zidane – Atal, Mandi, Tougai, Hadjam – Boudaoui, Zerrouki, Chaïbi – Mahrez, Benrahma, Amoura.

Where to watch the match?

This Africa zone match between Somalia and Algeria will be broadcast on L'Equipe Live Foot this Thursday from 6 p.m. It will also be possible to watch it on the group's streaming platform, the official website.
