This Wednesday, Corinne Diacre was made official as the new coach of the Marseillaises, the women's team of Olympique de Marseille. Two and a half years after being removed from her position as coach of the French women's team, the Croisian technician is making her return to the bench.
She says she was quickly seduced by the Marseille option.
“I obviously did not refuse it in the interest of OM. I asked myself questions about the project but they didn’t hide anything from me”explained the former ASJ Soyaux defender at a press conference.
An imminent arrival
At OM, Deacon will join the staff already in place, which should be supplemented by a new element. According to The Teamresidents of the First League should soon be able to count on a video analyst.
The new Marseille coach also spoke of possible recruitments during the next transfer window. “If we manage to achieve the objective of maintaining quickly, we will try to annoy the leading teams at the end of the season. We'll see what we can do in the winter transfer window.”said Deacon.
