In Saint-Etienne, a nugget took its first steps with professionals. Discreet but promising, this young 17 -year -old talent already attracts the attention of Eirik Horneland. Since the start of the international break, a new face has been training regularly at the stretch alongside Stéphanois stars.

His name is Noah Moulin, and his career could well inspire all young French footballers. Arrived at only 11 years old at the Greens Training Center in 2019, this versatile attacking midfielder begins his sixth season in Forez. A symbol of the fidelity and excellence of the Stéphanoise academy.

A noticed rise in ASSE

Born May 13, 2008, Moulin climbed all the levels methodically. After shining with the national U17s last season, this year he joined the Sylvain Gibert reserve group. His statistics speak for him: 4 games played in National 3 with 4 victories, including a recent crucial victory against Feurs (0-1) where he was holder.

The young Frenchman already displays an impressive versatility, sometimes evolving as an attacking midfielder, sometimes in the position of attacker. This tactical adaptability visibly seduces Horneland, which no longer hesitates to integrate it regularly into professional sessions.

The perfect opportunity

The international truce falls peak for mill. With nine absent internationals (Cardona, Batubinsika, Old, Stassin, Jaber, Annan, Davitashvili, El Jamali and Stojkovic), the professional workforce was considerably reduced. This situation offers an exceptional window of opportunity to young people in the training center.

Alongside Paul Eymard and Kévin Pedro, already used to the Pro group, Moulin represents this new rising generation of the etra. At only 17 years old, he perfectly embodies the ASSE training policy, a historically recognized club to reveal young talents.

A promising future

This silent promotion of Noah Moulin is a continuation of the Stéphanois project. In a context of ascent to Ligue 1, the integration of young talents formed at the club becomes crucial. The exemplary journey of this attacking midfielder, the fruit of six years of patience and work, could well inspire the next generation of Stéphanois footballers.
