Players like Marc-André Ter Stegen and Robert Lewandowski could play their final season in Catalonia, and midfielder Marc Casado could also leave.
Casado broke into Barca's first team upon the arrival of Hansi Flick in the summer of 2024, but since then his influence has gradually waned and is unlikely to increase any time soon. As a result, he could be sold, with Pedri, Frenkie de Jong, Gavi and Marc Bernal being, in theory, ahead of him in the hierarchy.
Barcelona wanted to sell Casado this summer, but that proved impossible. But when the transfer window reopens, the young defensive midfielder could be moved on, especially as CaughtOffside reported that Premier League giants Chelsea and Arsenal would be interested in his recruitment.

Barcelona sets asking price for Casado sale
According to some sources, Barcelona would be ready to accept any offer in the region of 30-35 million euros, which would be largely achievable for clubs like Chelsea and Arsenal. However, convincing the 22-year-old to leave Catalonia would be a different story, as he has shown no intention of leaving.
If Casado is the fifth most successful defensive midfielder, it makes sense for Barcelona to sell him while his price is high. 30 to 35 million euros would constitute a major asset for their financial difficulties, especially since this sum would represent a net profit, since it comes from the training center.
It remains to be seen whether clubs like Chelsea or Arsenal will intensify their interest in Casado as the transfer window approaches in January. At this point, Barcelona might be less inclined to sell as they are unlikely to find a replacement.
