Eight months after his serious knee injury, Lisandro Martínez has still not resumed collective training with Manchester United. According to The Sunthe Argentinian defender, affected by the crossed ligaments in February against Crystal Palace, has continued individual work since the end of the summer tour. If his return to the group could be postponed until after the international break in November, he remains very involved outside the field, assistant to training, team meetings, and even present in the locker room during travel, as at Etihad last month.

Since his arrival in 2022, Martínez has been chain long -term injuries: metatarsal fracture, calf problem, then rupture of the anterior cross ligament. Despite these stopover, he is still one of the mancunian cloakroom executives. In his absence, it is Luke Shaw who occupies the left side of the defense three set up by coach Ruben Amorim. United therefore hopes to be able to count on the former Ajax for the second part of the season, and see him again tread the lawns before the end of the year.
