The news is rather reassuring from FC Barcelona. Injured in the groin during Spain's last rally in September, Lamine Yamal missed four matches with the Catalan club before making his comeback at the last minute against Paris Saint-Germain (2-1 defeat) on October 1 in the Champions League.

Unfortunately, the 18-year-old prodigy, second in the 2025 Ballon d'Or, relapsed. Initially summoned with La Roja for the October international break, he ultimately had to withdraw from the matches against Georgia (Saturday) and Bulgaria (Tuesday). Barça evokes a “discomfort in the pubis”leaving Yamal at the club's disposal for “promote a quick and safe recovery”.

The Classico in sight

According to the latest news, and according to Marca, the player is following a convalescence plan which suggests a rapid return. The club hopes to get him back on October 18 against Girona, on the 9th day of La Liga. The media emphasizes, however, that his participation in the meeting remains uncertain.

If he quickly regains his sensations, the Blaugrana crack could then be included in the squad for the reception of Olympiakos in the Champions League, three days later. He should also be part of the highly anticipated Clasico at the Bernabéu on October 26.
