Last June, after the coronation of Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League last season, the Luis Enrique team was received and congratulated by President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée. Twenty-nine years earlier, Parisians had already been honored by the French head of state at the time, Jacques Chirac, after their first European success in the Cups Cup.
