Author of an start to the season mixed on the sporting and extra sporting level, the LOSC begins a decisive week if he does not want to be released, both in Ligue 1 and in the Europa League. In the Europa League, it is still early but a first assessment is already standing. Difficult winner against the Norwegians of the SK Brann (2-1) thanks to a saving goal from Olivier Giroud in the 80th minute, Lille displays a very different level from last season. In the meantime, the workforce has changed, but the coach is the same. Nicknamed “PEP Genesio” for his prestige victories against the best Tacticians in Europe, the French coach has been revealing a certain form of nervousness lately. Particularly with the Arbitral Corps of Ligue 1, against which he prevailed after being sanctioned with a red card for several mood gestures against OL (0-1 defeat), worth an expulsion match by the LFP disciplinary committee.
