Matvey Safonov is starting to find the time long. Arrived at Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2024 from FK Krasnodar, the Russian goalkeeper remains the second option of coach Luis Enrique.
At its beginnings in the Paris jersey, the hierarchy was originally to be abandoned, giving way to real competition with Gianluigi Donnarumma. Safonov shouts his frustration
The former Byki player has not yet played the slightest minute this year, leaving the newcomer Lucas Chevalier to chain all the meetings. On social networks, Safonov gave his feeling about this situation.
“It's really frustrating because we don't know who plays until the last minute. And you have to prepare physically and mentally for each match. Growing is the easiest thing in the face of this situation. It is much more difficult to maintain motivation and strength to continue the fight ”he explained on Instagram.
