But the former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher believes why United has not yet dismissed Amorim. “I think he is still in office because the leaders at Manchester United have made so many mistakes on and out of the field that they almost do not want to admit now that they have committed another. (…) What he did at Sporting Lisbon was fantastic and he seemed to be the next big manager. But bringing a manager with a system like his was not suitable for the traditions of Manchester United ”explained the Sky Sports.
The child of Mersey, however, calls for his former rival to react quickly: “The club faster, the better it will be for everyone, because it is a disaster for the club, but also for the manager.
