Mattémao Guendouzi was suspended two games after simulating a fault and insulted the referee during the derby with Lazio against AS Roma (defeat, 0-1) in Serie A on Sunday. The French international (14 selections) will therefore miss the meeting against Genoa on Monday (8:45 p.m.), and the match against the Torino, on October 4 (3 p.m.).
A decision that slows down the good start to the season of Guendouzi on an individual level, since the former Marseillais had taken part in all the Lazio meetings. Guendouzi had even scored a goal against the Hellas Verone, on August 31 (4-0 victory).
