It has been almost four months since Paris Saint-Germain wrote the most important page in its history. On May 31, the team trained by Luis Enrique won in the Champions League final against Inter Milan (5-0), winning its first “big ears cup”. Several jerseys carried by Marquinhos and his teammates were sold at auction this Friday. That of the Parisian captain was bought 55,203 euros (excluding sales costs).
The sale was organized on the MatchWornnshirt (MWS) platform which has made a specialty of this type of auction. As RMC said this Sunday, there were therefore several PSG jerseys offered to the public wishing to offer a piece in the history of the club. On each tunic appeared the famous mention: “Final Munich 2025”.
The media cited several of the jerseys sold. That of Vitinha, dedicated by the Portuguese midfielder of PSG, was thus bought 10,001 euros, while that of his compatriot and teammate, Nuno Mendes, was sold for 30,107 euros. If the tunic of Willian Pacho left for 16,002 euros, that of the former Napoli, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, was sold for 42,198 euros. The Georgian scorer status during the final has surely impacted the price.
Marquinhos, this dear captain's jersey
But the record for this sale therefore returned to Marquinhos, as confirmed by MWS who unveiled the amount. According to RMC, it is a French collector who acquired the jersey in question. It only has to frame it and place it in a safe place.
As for PSG players, they have just started the new Champions League campaign by a convincing success validated last Wednesday at the Parc des Princes against Atalanta Bergame (4-0). If he succeeded in succeeding an improbable back-to-back, there is no doubt that their jerseys could sell even more.
