Pedri will not be present at the Golden Ball ceremony on Monday in Paris, despite his place among the finalists, reports Sport. The midfielder of FC Barcelona decided, in agreement with the club, not to make the trip in order to favor rest. With a very busy calendar – including matches against Getafe, Oviedo, Real Sociedad, PSG and Seville, followed by a gathering with the Spanish selection – the player prefers to avoid additional journeys to maintain his current form.
Although Pedri is not in Paris, Barça will be widely represented, both on the male side with Cubarsí, Raphinha and the coach Hansi Flick, as on the female side with Aitana, Alexia, Graham or Patri. President Joan Laporta and several leaders will also make the trip. The Lamine Yamal prodigy, one of the favorites alongside the Parisian Ousmane Dembélé, will also be there.
