Brest finally offers a breath of fresh air. In search of a first success this season, Eric Roy's men found their salvation at the Francis Stade Le Blé by dominating Nice (4-1), this Saturday during the 5th day of Ligue 1. The Bretons, penultimate at the start, started the meeting perfectly before holding good against the Nice awakening.
The ideal scenario took place from the start. After a few minutes of observation, Ludovic Ajorque opened the scoring of an opportunistic scorer gesture (6 '), well served by Romain Del Castillo. In the process, the latter doubled the impressing of a sumptuous strike, sent in the middle of the skylight after having struck the transverse (10 '). Nice, completely overwhelmed, then fogled and brushed on the sinking.
But the Aiglons ended up reacting. Dominators in possession, they reduced the gap in the 30th minute thanks to Terem Moffi, to the conclusion of a superb service in Boudaoui. Galvanized, Franck Haise's men multiplied the assaults, but without success, and returned to the locker room led 2-1 after a disastrous start.
Nice hard
Upon returning from the locker room, Brest chose the median block, waiting for his time to knock again. The reward came in the 70th minute: Chotard, served by Ajorque, found the fault of a clear strike at the entrance to the surface. Then, five minutes later, Labeau-Lascary took advantage of a totally disorganized Nice defense to drive the nail (75 ').
Thanks to this net success and without burr, Brest signs his first victory of the season and leaves the red zone. For their part, the Niçois, still incapable of chaining, sink into the inconstancy and will quickly correct the shot to hope to aim above.
