In an interview with the Brazilian media SpearDeco has returned to the recently fenced FC Barcelona summer transfer window as well as on the club's ambitions for the coming season. He was confident about the management taken by the team, despite a context of strong competition in Europe.
Among the priority files mentioned, Deco posted his optimism concerning the extension of the contract of Frenkie de Jong, currently linked to the Catalan club until 2026: “We are in discussion. I think we are going to reach an agreement. He is an important player for us. He is happy in Barcelona, and we are also with him. So I don't think there will be a problem ”he assured.
