LIGA: Hard blow at 112 M € for FC Barcelona

The Spanish federation wants to sanction Joan Laporta

Like every season, Laliga grants a payroll limit to each first and second division club. Again, Real Madrid is doing very well according to official data relayed by the Spanish press. Casa Blanca is entitled to a maximum of € 761.226 million for its payroll, or € 6.336 million more than the amount authorized last season (€ 754.89 million).

On the other hand, the blow is tough for FC Barcelona. The Catalan club still has an envelope of 351, € 284 million, but this represents a drop of € 112 million compared to the amount granted in 2024 (€ 463 million). Note that Seville FC is the team being entitled to the smallest liga wage bill, with only € 22, 139 million.
