Fired for putting a Manchester United jersey

Manchester City was forced to intervene after an employee was seen wearing a Manchester United jersey while pints at Etihad Stadium on the day of the derby.

A supporter shared the photo of the employee on social networks and reported it to the club, which quickly dismissed him from office. On the ground, the Cityzens crushed their 3-0 rivals thanks to a double from Erling Haaland.

A supporter of Stuart named the incident to City by publishing a photo of the employee carrying a United T-shirt when he served pints for supporters on the day of the derby. He wrote on X: ” It's a real joke @Mancity! Leave a member of the Bloc 315 bar staff to wear a united jersey on the day of the derby. ”

The club took note of the publication on X and quickly dismissed the person from his post in the stadium. In response to the irritated supporter, they wrote: ” Thank you for reporting to us this information. We can confirm that this person has been dismissed from his duties. »»

In the middle of chaos out of the field, City returned to the first league victory thanks to an exceptional result against its rivals. Erling Haaland scored a double and Jeremy Doku delivered two assists, allowing Cityzens to win 3-0 on the Red Devils on Sunday.

The Pep Guardiola team will be back in action on Thursday to face the Italian champion Naples, during their first game in the Champions League at home.
