Tottenham closes the door to buyers despite the departure of Daniel Levy

After the surprise resignation last Thursday of Daniel Levy, emblematic president of Tottenham for 24 years, the management of the Spurs published a statement on Sunday evening, assuring that the club “Is not for sale” and specifying having firmly rejected several “Manifestations of interest” relating to the total acquisition of the club.

Despite a contrasting season – marked by a 17th place in the Premier League, but also by a victory in the Europa League final against Manchester United – the club remains under the control of the ENIC group, a majority shareholder at 85.55 %. Peter Charrington has been appointed non -executive president to ensure the transition after Levy's departure, often criticized in recent years by supporters.
