Forced to evolve in National 2 – the fourth division of French football – since the past season already, Bordeaux has not had good reasons every day to rejoice. However, the freshly fenced summer transfer window offered FCGB a nice breath of oxygen.
It was from Strasbourg that boon has arrived. No less than 1.3 million euros paid in the coffers of a club under infusion. The origin of the funds? The Dilane Bakwa transfer, formed among the Girondins, from Alsace to England, and more precisely in the rows of Nottingham Forest.
Laborde also puts butter in spinach
Under the famous solidarity compensation, Bordeaux will indeed receive 3.75% of a transfer to 35 million euros. Almost a fifth of their annual budget, slightly less than 7 million euros. The South West regional daily adds that the FCGB also inherited 200,000 euros as part of the transfer of Gaëtan Laborde from Nice to Al-Diriyah, a Saudi second division club.
