The top 10 most expensive transfers of summer

While the transfer window has just closed its doors this Monday for the 5 largest European championships, we can already proceed at the top 10 of the most expensive arrivals of the summer. A classification clearly dominated by Liverpool which places three recruits in the first three places in this ranking. Thus, Alexander Isak is the most expensive player in the summer since he cost 144 million euros excluding bonuses to the Reds. Florian Wirtz follows with a cost of 125 million euros excluding bonus while the podium is completed by Hugo Ekitike and its 95 million euros excluding bonus.

The fourth most expensive transfer of summer is that of Nick Woltemade who joined Newcastle from Stuttgart against 85 million euros. Manchester United then places three players with Benjamin Sesko (5th), Bryan Mbeumo (6th) and Matheus Cunha (8th). Victor Osimhen (6th) is inserted with his sale for 75 million euros in Galatasaray. Finally, Luis Diaz bought by Bayern Munich and Martin Zubimendi who left for Arsenal complete this classification with two transfers at 70 million euros.
