The nightmare continues for Raheem Sterling, who does not enter the Chelsea plans but failed to leave the club this summer. After being informed a year ago by Enzo Maresca that he no longer had for the Italian coach, the English winger had been loaned to the Rival Arsenal for a season. But his visit to the Gunners was disappointing, and on his return to Stamford Bridge, his situation did not improve. Despite Fulham's interest this summer, no transfer was materialized before the British transfer window closed.

Sterling therefore finds himself in a dead end, with little chance of playing by January, unless he joins a championship whose transfer window is still open, such as MLS, Turkey or Saudi Arabia. However, the English international (82 selections, 20 goals) remains reluctant to a departure to the Middle East, as sooner in the summer. He still has two years of contract in Chelsea, signed during his transfer to 2022 from Manchester City for 56 million euros.
