2026 World Cup, a dream draw for the Blues?

The French team will be very quickly fixed. The vice-world champions led by Kylian Mbappé begin (finally) their 2026 World Cup qualifiers with two first games against Ukraine and Iceland, next Friday in Poland, then the following Tuesday at the Parc des Princes. Didier Deschamps and his players do not have the right to make mistakes from their start of the campaign against the outsider of the group, in a Wroclaw stadium which will be acquired by the cause of the Ukrainians.

France will continue against Azerbaijan and Iceland in October, before a possibly decisive match against Ukraine, in Paris, before a last meeting in Baku (we do not know if it will be expensive). It will be necessary to finish at the top of the ranking to qualify directly for the World Cup 26 organized in Canada, the United States and Mexico. The second group will compete in European dams with four drafts of the League of Nations in the form of four Final Four.

Third in the FIFA world ranking behind Argentina and Spain, France will be one of the 12 series heads of the drawing of the World Cup on December 5 in Washington DC, in the company of the three host countries, the Abiceleste, the Furia Roja, Brazil, England, Portugal, the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany (if all the European teams mentioned).

Uzbekistan and Jamaica for the Blues?

With 12 teams per hat, there are not very formidable selections from the second pot, such as Austria, South Korea and Australia, if we trust the projections of the X account
Football meets data. In hat 3, we will probably find Uzbekistan, qualified surprise in the Asia zone, or even Cameroon and South Africa (which are not yet qualified in the Africa zone).

Finally, in hat 4, for the French team, it will be enough to avoid the four European nations from the dams (this could be Italy, Greece, Serbia and Turkey) to inherit an unknown level (even at the unknown), like Iraq, Jordan, Jamaica and New Zealand. First objective, however: the qualifier for the Blues.
