The astonishing management of Leicester with Bilal El Khannouss

He is a player to say the least coveted on the transfer market, even more after his big season. Landed last summer in Leicester from Genk, Bilal El Khannouss had everything from the good pick for the Foxes. The Moroccan international had been bought more than 23 million euros by Leicester, who hoped to strengthen his midfield. If the young player of 21 was brilliant with the English club, he could not prevent the relegation of his own in Championship. But after a successful season, he logically caught the eye of several European stables.

Since the start of the transfer window, it seemed inconceivable to see the Moroccan international (22 selections) to remain an additional season with the Foxes, even more in English D2. And the clubs have in turn shown an interest in the player. There were many. But a few days before the end of the transfer window, Bilal El Khannouss is still under contract with Leicester. However, the offers did not fail. But according to our information, Leicester actually blocks all the proposals received, such as that of Crystal Palace.

Leicester blocks offers

The English club, which has just lost Eberechi Eze, has made an offer of around 30 million for the Moroccan nugget. Which corresponded to what Leicester wanted. But the management of the Foxes refused this offer, demanding that more than 50 % of the sum be paid directly this summer. The reason? Leicester still owes a tidy sum to Genk (about 15 million). In this sense, Leicester is currently pushing Bilal El Khannouss to Saudi Arabia, since the Al-Ittihad club proposed 30 million immediately. But the player meant him in his management: out of the question to agree to join the Saudi Pro League. A few months from a CAN at home, he only thinks of the sports project and does not want to sign there.

A decision that does not help Leicester, which therefore absolutely wants to force him to join the Saudi club in the last hours of the transfer window, for lack of better. According to our indiscretions, Stuttgart has also returned to the charge in recent hours. The German club had made a first offer a few weeks ago, around 20 million euros, logically refused by Leicester. But with the very big sale of Woltemade in Newcastle (90 million), Stuttgart now has liquidity and prepares a new offer this Thursday evening, which should be closer to what Leicester wishes in terms of amount. It remains to be seen whether the English club will once again refuse this proposal to try to make the player yield. This one, who has been waiting for a long time for a very long time in this file, still wants to evolve in Europe next season, and the German championship fully corresponds to his sports ambitions.
