According to our information, everything is now completed for the departure of Mathis Lambourde to Venice. The 19 -year -old French striker, currently under contract with Hellas Verona until June 2027, will join the Venetian club as part of a paid loan with a purchase option with special conditions so that Verona keeps a hand on his future. The former Rennes is expected in Venice this evening, before spending his medical examination and being officially presented before the weekend.
Still according to our sources, the Hellas Verone does not intend to cut the bridges with its young talent and will re -evaluate its situation in a year, when the purchase option could be lifted by Venice. Lambourde, trained in France before trying his luck in Serie A, will therefore have the opportunity to save playing time in Serie B and continue its progression in a context favorable to the emergence of young offensive profiles.
